Question on the lovely book collection hijhinckx January 29 2014, 00:42:58 UTC
May I enquire as to whether or not Charles de Lint's "Our Lady of the Harbour" is the Axolotl Press edition (ie, hardback) or a paperback? I cannot tell from the photo.

Yes, it is the hardcover - and in pristine condition - dust jacket a tiny bit rumpled along one edge, but the interior is untracked. (Sorry, I"m not a Rare Book person - I know my language is imprecise; detailed photo available on request.)

Thanks very much for asking.

I've kept the photos a bit lo-res to keep the size of the LJ post down - but I'm very happy to answer all questions about the Stuff, and to email better photos if anyone needs to see them.

Hi Ellen,

Thank you for your quick reply. :)

If you truly don't mind, a higher res photo of the close-up of the books would be lovely (my eyesight is only so-so). Would it also be possible to get a higher rez of the two top groupings of T. Windling's art? Or at least the top left one (with the woman with the brown background at center)? My email is books at thehinckleys dot com.

Many thanks!

I'll send you the hi-res version of the stack of books photo.

There are bigger, clearer versions of the Box of Sketches photos on my Facebook page:

Thanks so much Ellen and Delia for your hard work and ongoing support of Endicott West all these many years. Without you, there would have been no fairy writing and art place in the desert. I speak for many I'm sure, when I say thank you.

Hi
I'm confused- could find where to bid last night, but not today. Am I lost (again!), or did the auction end early? (PLEASE don't tell me today isn't Wednesday!!!)

In any case, all the best with the move

Linda
