Tim Jerome (Leonard Rugg et alia) plays one of the Theater Managers in PHANTOM on B'way. Here's a great photo of the curtain call that he made, I guess, on Monday after a full day's recording with us, bless him

Oh, my stars, isn't Wilson Bridges pretty. (I've been clicking through your Facebook links.) Now I want the "World of Riverside" HBO miniseries more than ever!
Yes, Wilson is *ehrm* very pretty - and an amazing actor, too, with a real feel for language and character. My friend Joel Derfner (*Gay Haiku* and the amazing SWISH, which everyone should read!!!) sent him to us when we were looking for a young MIchael Godwin for audio Swordspoint, bless him. You can also hear him as one of the artists in the Rogues' Ball in the TPOTS 5-minute sample on the audiobook webpage. He and Nick Sullivan are, I think, the 2 guys who will have been in every single Riverside book. I want to get them a commemorative Pin or something.... ;)
When we release Book 3, we're going to have a cast party at our place. It will probably explode from talent and pulchritude. I'll take photos!
But I would also point out that in audio we cast for VOICES, not FACES (and many are the jokes about having "a good face for radio!"). I was a bit trepidatious about even posting photos of our actors.
And I am now doubly in awe of the truly gifted voice actor. At one point, we needed someone to read some Peter Godwin lines in a scene to keep the momentum going, and Nick Sullivan stepped in - and delivered an entirely credible 14-year-old boy--not just the intonation, but the voice itself! Marvellous.
