Anyone have any ideas for a PRIVILEGE OF THE SWORD beverage?

Or is it just the Swordspoint, but with a pink plastic sword in it?

Just don't put a cherry on it.

I shall have to rush over to my local Tiki bar this afternoon (What, you mean some people don't have a local tiki bar? Tragic.) and consult the magicians.

It certainly won't be pink, or have a small plastic sword. A large one, perhaps...

On consultation with the Magicians, who didn't die off 200 years ago, it was suggested that, at least in later life, Katherine would be drinking single malt Scotch, probably a Campbelltown. As for the book- a variant on the Manhattan:
2 oz brandy, cognac or better
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
2-3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
