Looking at that makes me sad that there is no published collection of Thomas Canty's work available. For years whenever I saw something with his cover art I had an immediate "You must read/buy this now!" reaction without really being able to articulate why. I'm not sure if there are any active artists in the SF/F genres who inspire the same reaction in me today. Maybe Kinuko Y. Craft.

Well, when your $15 copy of "The Man with the Knives" arrives, you will see that it has this same picture as the tipped-in art foldout. Yeah, it's got creases, but it's still gorgeous - and it's all yours!

Please give it another try. I'd originally set the auction as adult content, but we really haven't been getting it, so I just turned it off. I'm not sure if there's an LJ glitch that's going on and ignoring your login or not, but we'll see if that fixes the problem. :}
