No, really, I insist. If you're near NYC, see Liz Duffy Adams' play "Or," if you possibly can. It's about a woman who wants to be a famous writer, and theatre people, and kings with deliciously long hair, and language and gender. See?

Sigh. We missed it. General myopia, though the flu or whatever we've been dealing with since Wednesday wasn't exactly helpful.

I'm down to scratchy throat and phlegm, and was able to run errands the last couple of days. mnemex is coughing a lot less today but still has a mild fever -- and a doctor's appointment for 11:15 am tomorrow.

The doctor did actually return his call.

--He thinks it's a 5 day respiratory flu that's going around. As I think we're on the sixth day since Wednesday, it's clear that no one taught the flu how to count.

--He said, more than once, that if mnemex is feeling better tomorrow, he should not come in.

mnemex assured me he will come in, having a) a mild fever still today and b) less concern about irritating the doctor by showing up than irritating me by giving it a miss.

In addition to other reasons to want him well, I think that I have a copy of Eclipse 3 at or soon arriving at his workplace.
