What's the difference between Long Fiction and Novel as categories?

Length. Long fiction is 7,500 words in length but no more than 39,999 words in length. A novel is 40,000 words or over.

Thanks! It's not doing badly. The doc will take a look tomorrow. I leave for Seattle Wednesday so need to call the airline for a wheelchair both ways.
