This powerhouse is from the Philippines and is only 15 years old. She sounds more like Whitney than Whitney has ever sounded like Whitney. She could stomp out the entirety of American Idol with her size five feet.
I agree that she's got a pretty powerful voice, & she's good at being on key. But, and this happens a lot with younger women who try to sound older, when she sings the lower notes it's like she's underwater or something because it's hard for her to project those.

Yes, I also cannot sing at all even though I do frequently, which causes everyone around me to suffer. The result being that I am pretty much in awe of everyone who can sing.
She IS only 15. Give her a few years to mature. I know I am reserving space in my itunes library.
