I woke up feeling terrible yesterday, and I got progressively worse throughout the day. It turns out I have the flu. As a result, I haven't been able to visit my mum in hospital; just talk to her of the phone in a barley audible voice because I have a sore throat.

At least I have plenty of time to get my uni assignments done, so I don't have to

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon! At least you've got plenty of time for assignments (and at least you didn't give your mom the flu? bright sides?). I wish I could make some soup or something for you *HUG*
