Music | Vampire Diaires Season 1 Compilation
Hey y'all! Finished up my Vampire Diaries playlist. The genres range from pop to rock, to a stringed quartet (from the episode 'Miss Mystic Falls'!), and even a hip hop song (from 'Blood Brothers' when Anna kissed Jeremy!).
I listened to a sample of every song played in the show for the whole of season 1. I downloaded about 30 songs that I thought suited the mood of the show, the characters and the stories best. From those, I whittled it down to 16 that I thought really embodied all of the above in a concentrated form. As I'm pretty particular about music, they're mixed just so - ie, they're meant to be listened to in the order in which I put them. Each song blends well one to the next.
If it's not already obvious, all of these songs are from The Vampire Diaries. I didn't add any that weren't played on the show itself (despite that there were a few I was tempted to add even though they weren't "official"). Have at it, y'all!! Hope you enjoy ... it'll be something to tide us all over until September :D
