Seriously. You have near perfect timing and rhythm, and as usual, you've left me both satisfied and wanting more.

If your megabyte harddrive performs anything like you write, Bonnie missed out.

Appreciate the compliments very much.

As for my "hard drive capability" -- bear in mind that (A) I was trying to come up with a humorous line, and (B) Guys have a tendency to brag about their "hardware" in extremely unrealistic terms. Still, if Bonnie had been available and allowed me the opportunity, she definitely would have inspired me to "perform above and beyond" the "normal engineering specifications"...

Thanks for the feedback!

Aw, sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction. I've definitely found that to be true in my own life!

I'm just glad you were ok after all!

Yeah, I've frequently found reality to be extremely unrealistic... and while I still wish I never faced those muggers, I'm glad I came away in one piece.

Thanks for the feedback!

Love the bit with you and the Emcee! Sorry to hear that Bonnie was taken, and that you got attacked on the train, but I'm glad that in the end things turned out pretty well overall.

I was sorely tempted to end the piece after I put the Emcee in his place... but then I realized the rest of the evening involved me "improvising" while dealing with less-than-pleasant issues. Therefore, that part of the story still fit the prompt.

Thanks for the feedback!

Same here... oh, yes.

Enjoyed the comedy club.
As I told someone else: I was sorely tempted to end the piece after I put the Emcee in his place... but then I realized the rest of the evening involved me "improvising" while dealing with less-than-pleasant issues. Therefore, that part of the story still fit the prompt.
