Interesting setting..:) like others even I am curious about what happens next? does any of the kids come back...does Peter get involved in a duel/fight when he dies?...A good read overall!
None of Peter's children ever went to visit Stephen and the rest of the Bladesedge clan. There's a major clue why in the second paragraph of the tale... but I'll admit it's subtle:
[Major plot point for future tales hidden under this spoiler link.]The paragraph refers to the Bladesedge clan in the past tense. Within a decade or so of the events listed in this tale, the Bladesedge clan gets completely wiped out... except for Peter and his children. So even if any of Peter's kids had an interest in joining the clan, there was no one for them to meet!
As for the circumstances of Peter's death... I may cover that in detail in a future tale, but I have made a vague passing reference to it in one of my tales in an earlier season of LJI.

The family name was very obvious though. Did they choose it for themselves at one point? :)

OK, I came up with the name back when I was a teenager... But let's face it: not only is the name awesomely cool, it just plain *FITS*!
