I recently moved into a new section at my job. For the first four years after graduation we kind of do a number of rotations throughout different departments, so that at the end of our four year… uh… internship I'll say for lack of a better word, we know which department we want to work in permanently. Oh, wow, four years? That's like becoming a doctor almost!

That sounds very frustrating...guess you don't want that department then! ;)

Well, things just got a lot better and I'm assigned a lot more work and more responsibility, so I'm happy again. And this section IS interesting, it just had a really, really slow start. But I think all my rotations will start that way.

HAHAHA, if only I could make as much money as a doctor. That would be excellent. The four years is weird, it's like you still have to do everything that everyone else has to do, but your supervisor has to always check your work. So it's not as bad. My workplace actually has a really good system in place.
