The house in Comer went under contract on Friday. A day late, thankfully not a dollar short, though.

So now we're considering building our little cabin on this property. :)

Gotta stay busy, right??

Honest? Us?? Yeah, I guess we're ok landlords. We have a few people on el jay that are ex tenants and can vouch for us. ;)

Bah... building a house would cost us as much as buying at this point. Which is both good and bad :|
Just pricing it out today. For the envelope of the house it's about 35K, Not including the slab foundation, fixtures, electrical, doors/windows, water, sewer.

I've some experience in construction and management, but I'd need to stay as live-in for the duration of the build. :)
