I *think*, but I could be wrong, that she marked her own comment as "screened". That means no one but you gets to see it. If you reply to it, it automatically becomes unscreened.
So it isn't a matter of her attacking you in public. It is a way of sending you a private message.
The rest of the tone is still pretty rude, but if they've had problems in the past, I can see it being a poorly thought out "form letter" of sorts and not intended to be a personal attack.
*love* I so understand how hard it is to hae people assume... in my case it's usually that I know nothing about birthin babies because I'm childless. It's a long rant, but I know more than most folks for a few reasons, just haven't had the personal experience of birthing a live child. anyway... most of this post would make a good letter to her - might start a conversation that could lead to that friendship, you never know - and hell, she might learn something, eh?
I am also sad about her "positive comments only, please" attitude. I mean, it's great to be positive, but it's asking people to encourage stupidity if it wanders in - which with pregnancy is dangerous. jeez.
anyway... *love* and *chocolate* and *great big hugs* (I voted 2 weeks ago by absentee; my county is 100% mail in, so we have the option :-D)
Wow. She showed extremely poor judgment in telling you all those things without first engaging you in a conversation to see what your position on this issue is, what you'd done to come to that decision, and where you might have missed something, if you had at all. She missed a great opportunity to start a dialog, rather than a sermon. You have every right to be offended and hurt
