Well, apparently it's not true! But I'd read that you feed them the grits and they'd eat it and swell up and die. It was an attempt to get rid of them outside without harming any of the neighborhood creatures.
I guess I'll have to figure out something if they come back, haha.
I'm kind of a purist when it comes to food. I'd rather have a well cooked steak and a fluffy baked potato than some kind of floofy meal with "exotic" ingredients.
My being a picky eater is how i became interested in cooking: i could control what went into my food. My mom claims that i like all the weird foods and won;t eat anything normal. :P
