Christmas was lovely this year. My family apparently all decided to spoil each other. Yay! I'm glad you had a good Christmas. I am very really slightly jealous of your shiny Serenity presents; they sound so nifty!

And Done the Impossible! I think you'll really like it. It is packed with stuff-my favourite are the Easter Eggs, of which I've only found the one, but it is adorable.

I totally made my parents a list for the Serenity stuff, they'd never have figured out what I wanted in that fandom on their own. Providing hints helps :)

I do like Done the Impossible. We watched it at a Shindig and I kept meaning to buy it. I'm very much looking forward to playing with the extras :) Isn't one of the Easter Eggs like 5 straight minutes of Ron Glass chuckling?

Best. Thing. Ever. OMG. (And now I have to search like hell for it; the only one I've found is the one right during the movie, where that guy gets Nathan to set up the guy's proposal to his girlfriend.) edit: Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

There's fandomy stuff that I wanted, but my parents just gave me gift cards so I can buy it myself, without them worrying that they bought me the wrong thing. :)

Awww I think I've seen that proposal clip on youtube, I didn't know it was on the DVD, must find it, ADORABLE!

For fandomy stuff my parents usually want a specific list, like I linked them to the pages onlne where they could buy what I wanted. Not so much of a surprise but their thought is that if they're going to be spending the cash on it then they should get something I actually want. They do always try for a few surprises but usually not with the big stuff. The Buffy comics were a surprise this year but my Dad had asked me in the fall if I read Buffy comics so I figured a few were coming my way, I didn't figure that a few meant something like 30+ issues! Sometimes Daddy is wise to fandom stuff ;)

So busy but not bad holiday, so far? I'm planning to see Sweeny Todd with Emily this Saturday; she's already seen it, and liked it very much. To her Johnny Depp is reason enough to see a movie!

We got there too late, and went to see "I Am Legend" instead. Luckily, Emily also loves zombie movies!
