I have a belated resolution/assignment for myself... whichever. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to read 100 books this year. Then promptly convinced Dell to do the same :) So anyone else who wants to try for reading 100 books in a year join in! AND if anyone at all has any really good books to suggest let me know and I'll add them to my ( Read more... )

Whee, V for Vendetta. :) Love that movie. I have the special edition one because...well, because I'm a sucker for things (esp. DVDs, unsurprisingly) that come with free books. I have the Sin City one, too. Of course, my problem THEN is that I never have time to read aforementioned free books, though I did look at both and they both seem pretty cool.

If I recall correctly, there aren't a lot of extra features on V for Vendetta, but there IS an easter egg of Natalie Portman' SNL rap. :) Heh.

That may be one of the best easter eggs ever :)

I'm sure I easily read over 100 books a year, but I've never specifically counted. I think I'd be scared to!

I've never counted either. I know I read a good deal... not sure if I've hit 100 in the past couple of years, so I'm going to try to get back up to speed :)

That makes sense! I'm half-tempted to start writing them down, just to see how many I read. I wouldn't be surprised if it's about 300... ^_^;;

100 books in a year! I dream of going back to those days again ... actually, I'd be satisfied to *write* a couple of books in a year ...

Try the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. I especially like them in the winter, because they're so fast and funny that they help battle my wintertime depression.

Excellent, I shall check into those, it's great to have fun books in the wintertime :) I haven't read this much in a while but I hate being so caught up in life that I can't read enough, ergo, mucho reading shall happen this year :)

Good for you! I'd like to read the Harry Potter books again ... for that matter, I'd like to go through and read the Oz books over again -- for the umpteenth time. :-)

Reading the Harry Potter series again is on my list of things to read this year, my brother has all of the books so I have to go borrow the set from him :)

My Oz books are all packed in a box. Hopefully I'll be able to pull them out this year as well.
