Oregon Country Fair

Oregon Country Fair is super cool, and overwhelming, and hot and dusty and exhausting. I can not even tell you all how many nekkid boobies I saw today. At one point there was a parade of nekkid/painted dancing people with kazoos. I'm glad to be home and showered, and glad we experienced it.

It was pretty cool :)

It was also 96 freaking degrees...too hot! But the one thing I really appreciated was there was free water everywhere. Tons of volunteers had spritzer bottles and hoses for the crowds to cool down with and there were a lot of water stations. No 7 dollar bottles of water here. It also helps that they don't sell alcohol and request it isn't brought in, so there wasn't much in the way of dehydrated drunks stumbling around. I'm so accustomed to festivals in Seattle where you always see people in bad shape. I think the most wilted person I saw was a pregnant woman, and she was in the process of hitting up a guy with a hose.
