The amount of distress I would feel if my TiVo ever died is distressing in itself.

As a corollary to that, I firmly believe that the availability of television series on DVDs may end up being one of the greatest things that has ever happened in the entertainment industry.

My thoughts on things I have been watching this spring:

Much television blathering under here. )

I really like James Nesbitt and will check out Jekyll. As for The Riches, I agree with Alan Sepinwall that it has to lighten up at least a LITTLE or I am not going to be able to keep watching.

Keep writing about TV!

It is only six episodes, like they do a lot of in the UK. I watched the first three yesterday morning and it was very hard not to just sit there and finish it! I'm trying to pace myself. It is really really creepy and good.

Now that I've got you hooked on dear James, I will point you to the Cold Feet series. It's finally available on dvd for this side of the pond and I won the Pilot and First (of five) series on eBay two weeks ago.

I'm so pleased you liked it!

I know I have seen an ep or two of Cold Feet and remember enjoying them! I will definitely check them out as well. Yay Netflix.

I could be wrong (and I hope I am), but I think only the 1st three seasons of Cold Feet are available on DVD in the U.S. I was very frustrated to finish them in a Netflix flurry and find there were no more available. If you find out otherwise, let me know!
