Going to Whitby

Ok, I'm planning to go to Whitby in October sans spa ticket and find other fun things to do...still waiting for my discount etc and with the price hike it seems too expensive...

anyway, who else is planning on going (spaing or otherwise)?

I'm not, once a year is enough for me. And it's costing Squillions for the spa, even though the bands are staying the same (generally dire) bands and stuff...
