Maybe if I could be like other girls I could quit being awkward, but instead I'm stuck inside some twelve year old boy's brain and I don't even really want out.

I've said this before and I'm really serious about this.  Does anyone want to move to some place we've never been?  You know I have my heart set on Alaska, but I'd be okay with Maine, ( Read more... )

I'll go with you. Even if you're gay. Or straight. There's tons of haunted shit here, Liz. Come to Arkansas, fast.

P.S. I'm not going to pretend that "Jessie's Girl" isn't the best song ever recorded/conceived by a human mind.

I'm not going anywhere if you keep thinking I'm gay. Also, Rick Springsteen's picture with the roses looks surprisingly similar to that picture of that guy from the Rocket Summer with the confetti gun and I hate them both.

the best place to visit haunted houses/locations is eureka springs, AR, which also has a parking lot/urban campsite where they will be projecting the film The Birds onto an old brick wall in August. where is the second picture in this entry? i'm now an (un?)official commenter of your livejournal entries.

What about haunted places in Springfield, Missouri? What can you tell me about that? The second picture is in Homer, Alaska. Do you want to go? Thanks for commenting even though I don't know you. Thanks for not calling me gay.

Liz, it would be the best thing ever if you got this job! I don't know about winter, but summer in Alaska is so beautiful!! And I am glad you consider TN an option. East is prettiest, with the mountains, but pretty backwards. I guess you could do a lot of social educating, haha. Middle just has Nashville, which I don't think is too cool unless you're a country music lover...right. And Memphis is way cool, but somewhat sketchy, and you've already ruled it out. K, that's my 2 cents.

I figured you and Chelsea could help me figure out the state of Tennessee. I think I like the idea of it being "backwards" and I remember it being that way when I lived in South Carolina and I loved it so much. If I get that job, maybe I could send YOU some Alaskan trinkets (that pillow was my favorite birthday present to date, by the way.) I hope things are going well!

yes, TN is quite lovely, but mostly in the far eastern side, bordering North Carolina, which is pretty much my favorite state.

But NO UTAH. While the landscape is fucking RAD, it's also desertttt always. And no green at all. AND most important to mention, it's extremeeeeelllyyyyy conservative. Worse than the southeast. Mormons everywhere. :)

I've never been to north or south dakota, but I hear there are some really beautiful parts. And MAINE. My friends out here dream of Maine...they all want to go there. hehe
