Try the A&E miniseries; McGovern is *splendid*--everything Orczy tells us she is supposed to be: clever, witty, completely able to hold her own in a battle of wills with Chauvelin, and a perfectly-matched foil for her husband... she doesn't perhaps get as much adventure (um, if you can call it that?!) as the Marguerite of the book, but I think overall she's a more satisfying character.

I knew I liked you / your books for a reason!

Fellow Pimpernel fan here, though my favourite adaptation is still the Andrews/Seymour version...or maybe the Wildhorn musical.
