I am going to have a sister-in-law and I am so excited. I just spent the last few hours with Aly, telling her how she's perfect for Peter. Far better than the other people he's been with. And by far better, I mean like the distance from here to Pluto. Which I maintain is still a planet and always will be, thank you. She makes him so happy and ( Read more... )

Haha, I agree with you very much! Aly and Peter seem to be the perfect couple, and from all that I have heard, you are right about her being better for him than his previous women. I am very happy for him indeed, and I am glad that you have such a good friendship with Aly :) Your family just seems to keep getting better all the time!

Well the foresight wasn't working so well there, was it? That took you a while to realise.

You're not the only one! I will be thrilled and honoured to call you my brother, Peter. Your wedding day is going to be the best day ever! At least until your child is born!

In this instance, I used the "Continue!" dance rather than the "Stop it!" dance.

It will be! It will be wonderful. Both of those days! I bought books to read the baby today. I might be eager.

And I'll be honoured to call you that as well.

I think I'm too afraid to see your continue dance though. It could have connotations I don't want to see!

Don't worry, I have a different version of "Continue!" for that!

Baby books! That's fantastic. I know no child of yours will be brought up lacking literature. No doubt they'll be reading Chaucer by the age of four!

Well...good then?

I'm going to start reading to the baby soon! I don't care if it can't hear yet, I'm just excited! And I'll sing too. Aly says she'll love to have me serende her tummy.

I bet Dylan was reading Chaucer by the age of four.

I'm sure you're quite right about that! And I have no doubt that the baby will benefit from your communication, even at this early stage. I think it will do wonderful things for the baby's development. You're a wonderful father, Peter. Your children are the luckiest in the world.
