A/N: A rather crazy story I wrote for a university class, originally intended as a modern spin on P&P and eventually going... I don't know where. And I suppose it's a bit squicky, since the Elizabeth-character dates the Jane-character. But they're not related!

He wants to be a TEACHEEER! *checks own notes on Opinion* Yes, yes, it's a coincidence! What is it about male!Lizzy and kids? And the majors in literature? :D
My favorite scene is the one they meet each other. His discomfort is very graphic, I loved Narcissa, I so wanted to read this when I read Perfect! The Katherine to Jane's Audrey was great. And the fact she can't cook!
I really like the bycicle scene, too, so I'm fixing it in my Elizabeth's Genderswap Canon.
IIIIIIIIIH!
Lol, Julia gets pink carnations in chapter eight, too. I thought about changing them but I'll leave them as an homage!

Narcissa and Isabel and their PhDs... LOL. I love how they are both similar but also *different*.
And I'm glad you didn't write Jacks reaction to "That's why you love me". POOR NARCISSA. I keep imnaginng her blonde, though, thanks to your fair Darcy and Narcissa Malfoy. And you know what this story lacks? IT LACKS THE ULTIMATE PROPOSAL!!!

Yes, that's - it's what makes it fun. I mean, they're not the same person - well, they're Darcy, so they are, but they're different too. I think Isabel may be nicer, lol.
It actually took me awhile to figure out my Narcissa's appearance, because I started with my Darcy default - black - automatically switched to blonde, then thought 'oh, too much like JKR's Narcissa' and settled on an indeterminate 'rich dark' colour.
Yeah, I think Narcissa is . . . she's got this sort of rational dispassionate intellect, and at the same time she's kind of - all or nothing, and when she cares about somebody it's so all that she'll take all sorts of crap. So he can go on this litany and she just listens and analyses it and is ( ... )
