Thanks! Yeah, this won't change what's happening on the moon, so Palpatine still gets blown up with the Death Star, and then ... stuff!

Thank you! I love the scenario and always wondered what would have happened if Vader had taken him up on it -- but it's very rarely written. Of course, I'm constitutionally incapable of writing a short fic that actually resolves itself, lol, so this is basically just the beginning of a long fic I don't have the time to write!
