Out of any other goddamn day of the fucking year, I just had to be irresponsible, unprofessional, a complete failure, and make a terrible, irreversible mistake with disastrous consequences to our family business' reputation on the exact fucking day I've been waiting my entire life. The mistake is entirely my own but the timing? The circumstances?

No! Don't give up! Life is more than this one day and this one mistake. Tomorrow is another day, and there are so many more days ahead of you that will be both good and bad (because such is life). I know nothing I say is going to make you feel better :( Sometimes in life these unbelievably awful things happen, at the worst possible times, and we just have to somehow try to move past them.

Making a mistake, especially a bad one with consequences, is always devastating. But you are NOT a failure. Everyone makes mistakes, and yes, terrible ones sometimes. Even the most professional people make mistakes.

I really hope you're able to go to the concert and have a wonderful time. Of course what has happened will be on your mind, but at some point in the future, it will just be a bad memory. Don't let it rob you of something that will be a good one. *hugs you tightly*
