so bill finally spills the beans. i don't understand the need for all of the secrecy, though. clearly tom never saw him as a burden/cripple/ect... even if it was all in his head.

i would think that someone who has faced those type of trials in their life would have a different outlook. sometimes things don't work out for the better, and you have to adapt and make the best of the situation. pushing everyone away and considering yourself a burden is fruitless. maybe i'm just more self-aware than the character, lol.

i don't get the epilogue. so he gets magically better? tom's 'twu lub' heals him? if 18 years of doctors couldn't do it... what's wrong with having a 'happily ever after' with a disabled person in it? i think a more truthful happy ending would have had bill and tom in love despite his disability, kinda like in the real world.

i really enjoyed this story. thanks you for writing it. i wish there were more of this genre in the fandom. ;-)

OK, so I can understand Bill to an extent, but at the same time Tom has in fact acted really nice around Bill not making an issue of Bills handicap at all... :-P Oh well, it was good to get an explination, and hell it ended well. :-) You wrote this very, very well... And you dealt with the subject beautifully I think. :-)

Very nice story. I liked how Bill was holding on to that fire and anger, that disappointment that what he'd been workign for wasn't not something he was getting in the bitter end. Of course he had the right to be bitter and pissed off at everything, himself and what he wouldn't achieve.

But Tom changed all of that and stuck out to the very end. Tom was a great character. I liked how he used his good fortune and made something of himself. I loved the whole photography thing you had goign for the both of them. Adored Tom's portrait shooting of Bill - it was very lovely.

Great ending. Very sensual, thanks :)
