Crossovers I am ABSOLUTELY NOT maybe sorta working on right now:

Century Hotel/Highlander: the Series -- It's very sad that the nicest thing I can see happening to Michael where the movie leaves off is getting shivved in prison and coming back as an Immie. eta: Maybe with Nick from Farewell To Harry making an appearance.

NCIS/DC Comics -- it's ( Read more... )

I don't know NCIS, but can anyone *be* smirkier than James Jesse when he's got his game on? The man is practically an avatar of Bugs Bunny!

Alas, he didn't really have his game on when he was in the FBI, canonically. I'd be making NCIS/JAG/First Monday 'verse versions of the Rogues, natch, so he'd probably be on his game and also Piper's boyfriend would still be around and awesome.

Tony's pretty smirky, though. He's also immature, eager, hard-working, smart as a whip, and egotistical. The first and last parts of that might be an act.

I could hit a badfic cliché and have James be related to either Tony DiNozzo or Abby Scuito, but then again NCIS has an Agent McGee, and Flash canon has McGees as well -- in the Flash TV show, Trickster had a connection with Tina McGee, sorta... *draws a chart*

Yeah, being an FBI agent didn't make Trickster happy. He was better off doing special effects.

Piper's boyfriend James of no-surname-given? That'd be nice.

I think NCIS's Tony will look like an amateur compared to Piper, Trickster and Heatwave. They're totally winning to crash into an investigation in their 'work' clothes, blow up random stuff, and beat the crap out of the opposition all while talking to rats, cracking jokes involving rubber chickens, or set things on *fire* -- and bickering with each other like a group of teenage boys all the while. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to out-do them on the walking-chaos-attractors end of things.

Well, his first mission had them all encounter the Top and get brain-fragged (or brain-unfragged, depending how you look at it) so he didn't have long to slide into the role -- but they made him cut his hair and wear a dark, boring, probably cheap suit ( ... )

Now that I've actually seen the first couple of episodes of NCIS (yeah for Netflix!) I think Tony would be totally outmatched by any of the Rogues. And that Piper and Abby would get along like a house on fire, if they get to talk about music and fashion.

Tony gets sliiiightly better as time goes on. One thing he really has going for him is his persistence. His thing with movies bugs the Hell out of Kate (Agent Todd), and when he was dying of plague (!!!) in s2e21, he still managed to reel off the names of every actor who has played James Bond on film.

Maybe he's just obsessed.

Meanwhile, yes, Abby and Piper would totally get along, AND she would generously call him Piper if he asked her to, since she gets the whole thing with not liking one's name. After all, Gibbs' first name is Jethro. I think the only one who gets to call him that without repercussions is Ducky. Possibly because... he's Ducky. And he's okay with the nickname "Ducky"!

*plots to have Ducky and Nickie Elder meet*

I could only stand Tony in the first four episodes by fast-forwarding through his solo investigation scenes. He's just the kind of smarmy chauvanist that drives me right up the wall. If he gets better, it'll be a miracle and a blessing.

Abby knows ASL! She's terribly cute and geeky! Piper will like her, in a completely platonic way. And they seem to share a fashion sense.

He gets better. I've mostly seen later episodes, but even in 2nd season he's better.

Abby is a genius geek, and I think she's awesome. If overly caffeinated.

I don't see a fashion connection, though. o.O She's a perky goth, and he wears a lot of green and used to be overly fond of huge open-front polka-dotted shirts.
