Mother's Cookies is going out of business. Sad. I went to Safeway and bought a stupid amount of cookies, mostly Iced Oatmeal and English Tea for Adam and Karla, but also some Iced Lemon for myself. I was late coming back from lunch thanks to this little adventure, but I don't think anybody noticed. It's slow today ( Read more... )

Jammix - jealous. I'll be at a play. Got tickets before I heard about Jammix.

Obviously you should go to SNW, because I'll be there. And maybe bring some West Wing and stop by early in Rockridge.

1. - I laugh, because while I have not done the same thing, I'm sure given 5 minutes I can come up with something I'm currently doing that's just as silly.

2. - you're sick. He's like, older than your parents.

3. - you will never hook up with Josh.
It's ok, I'll never hook up with Josh's girlfriend (oops - does he have a girlfriend yet?), so we're even.

4. - WTF? Why don't I have my absentee ballot yet? I'm registered motherfuckers!

Re. 4: San Mateo County just started sending out their absentee ballots on Monday and they haven't finished yet; it's possible whatever county you're in is on a similar schedule.

Sad about Mother's Cookies -- I don't eat them any more, but oh man, so many childhood memories and TOTAL nostalgic love for them.

Yeah... I'm also concerned that I don't have my regular ballot yet. I only got the sample one within the last few days. Um, I can has voting?

Maybe the mad rush to buy their remaining products will put Mother's back in biznis. I'm sure going to run out and get me some animal shaped cookies tomorrow!!

San Mateo County just started sending out their absentee ballots on Monday and they haven't finished yet; it's possible whatever county you're in is on a similar schedule.
