Yeah, I wish I was going to see Neil Gaiman tomorrow, too. If tickets are still available, I possibly could go, only I don't seem to be able to muster the energy to log on to Ticketmaster and check. So, it's completely due to laziness on my part, but still. Neil Gaiman. I really should get off my butt while he's "in town" and go to see him. Because . . . Yum. :D

And as for the literary convention... "ModLitCon"? pronounced "model-it con"? "WriteNow"? "Pages That Bind Us" (punning on book bindings...)? "Hardcover Junkies"? (I'm assuming this is some sort of writing-and-critiquing-of-modern-literature convention with publishers and readers and authors and all those weirdos...So I'm trying to think of witty writerly things by looking at my bookshelves for inspiration) "Sagging Shelves"? okay and I'm done.
