Oh well done! That is amazing, and I'm really happy for you it turned out to be so easy.

Does this mean you need help packing now?

Will we see you wednesday?

Yes, we were amazed too. I think it helps that it was a bit more expensive than some of the other places - but sooo much better. I don't think they had as many applications.

Yes, I'll be there Wednesday - assuming nothing unpredictable happens. At least it wouldn't be appendicitis again. :)

We will need packing help sometime, but need to think about the timing of various bits. We will get back to you. :) S has 2 Thursday & Friday off this week and will make a start, no doubt.

Sounds like it is all coming together. And no storage unit is always good. :)

Let me know if you need a hand, I can come up for the day if need be :)

Phew! Congrats!

I always get sad when I see "free to good home" messages on the noticeboard at work, people who have to move or whose landlords change their agreements, so they can't keep pets.

Yes, I know there's some irresponsible renters with pets out there, but equally, there's many that don't allow their pets to destroy houses.

I do wish landlords could be more understanding.

Having the cats was a non-negotiable crierion for us. One reason we didn't even bother looking at units. I agree that landlords - and body corporates - should be more flexible.
