No. They play with their fancy telephones.

Whenever I've been on a chairlift, stopped or moving, I tend to concentrate hard on not dropping anything. I don't take off my mitts or goggles or adjust my music, and I hang on tight to my poles. I can't imagine risking my telephone by taking it out of my pocket! So it's dumb in that way too. (Also, lots of skiing places are too remote to have good phone coverage.)

I sometimes chat, and I always look at the mountains and trees. And now you have me thinking I should go skiing!
