Wow .. I only now finished commenting on all the wonderful 76 word stories posted in musemuggers this week so far! I started almost 3 hours ago!!!

They are all such wonderful stories packed tightly into 76 words. It's amazing what folks can do when pressed with a limit *grin*

I wanted to ask you, since you voted no, if you wanted me to put you on a 'don't include' list for the weekly best of musemuggers poll?

When I first voted it was out of fear as I did not want this wonderful little community to turn unfriendly due to voting. What if an authour never gets voted on? What if the same authour always gets the votes?

Then I decided that maybe this would help me to know if my stories were any good. I could not vote for your survey twice, I assumed. Would we be able to see how many votes each story got (like the results of this vote)? Or, would that pose other 'can of worms' issues?

It is a rather tough decision either yes or no. If the majority (70% or more) of our community says 'yes' to the best story per week then I will cast my story in the voting (when I can actually come up with one *lol*).

No one will see the vote results. I will only announce the winner. I'm hoping this keeps the hurt feelings down. You wont know if you got 1 vote short to win, or no votes at all.

The winner can only win once in a four week period. This is to keep one person for winning all the time -- which I don't think would happen, but just in case.

11 people said yes, 4 said no, and 11 said they didn't care. So I went with it. The vote is up. Since you didn't get with me, I put you on it. I can take you off if you want. (although I will tell you honestly, I voted for your story, and I hope you wont lol)
