Do you know it's been 8 months since I've done a "Daybook"? philosophymom posted one yesterday and reminded me.

FOR TODAY Monday, February 3, 2014

Outside my window ... a bright winter sun is illuminating a sparkling world of snow. It snowed again Saturday night and yesterday morning was overcast and just cold enough that that the "snow leaves" didn't fall

I told Cian yesterday that you had mailed a package to him. He woke up today insisting that we check the mail. Mail does not arrive here until almost noon. Today in fact we had no mail. The mail man came but had nothing for us. Cian proceeded to have a melt down. We told him the package is a hat you made for him hoping that he would calm down (he had convinced himself you were sending him a particular toy he likes). Instead he declared that he wanted the hat right now.
So your gift will be well-loved when it arrives. :)
