I'm just wondering why Obama is getting a pass from the media when Bush was harshly treated for similar actions.
... followed up with further clarification:
Our American media criticized Bush for going into Iraq for "protecting our interests" whereas with Obama they say nothing about going into Libya.Then

I've been thinking lately about the climate of fear that so many Americans live in - fear of the Other, fear of each other, fear of terrorism, fear of a threat to their belief system, fear of punishment by a vengeful God - and I pity frightened people deeply. And the thing is, the media feeds on and encourages that fear. I really agree that journalism and reporters have lost the mission, yet they still have so much influence on the minds of the readers/listeners.
