Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson dies aged 61

Roxette was my first band. And Marie was impossibly cool. I still have a drawer full of posters in my old bedroom.

I can't even begin to summarise what it all means. But I still know all their songs by heart.

Oh no, 61 is so young. After losing Dolores O'Riordan last year, this sucks even more.

So many good songs: The Look, Wish I Could Fly, It Must Have Been Love, Milk and Toast and Honey...

And I couldn't even begin to list all their good songs, it'd just be an index of all their albums.

The news brought both S2C and I very near to tears - they were the soundtrack (along with Runrig) to the early years of our marriage.
