Well, here it is - finally! I have no idea why this is so hard to write... I have it all perfectly worked out in my mind, but when I write it down it falls apart and has to be re-assembled very carefully. *sigh

Oh, good . Friending so I won't miss any of this. I really want them to get the bottom of the hypocrisy of Buffy calling them evil while she dates the Immortal.
Although I don't think I ever touch upon the thing with the Immortal again... well, not in this story anyway, although I do deal with hypocricy!
From the way my brain seems to be working, this might end up as a whole series of vignettes where Spike, Angel & Illyria go different places and meet different people. I have at least two other stories worked out (although shorter than this one) and a drabble. So keep watching this space! :)
Well, it'll please you no end that I've been busy writing for two days now (on and off) and Part 5 (which will be the last one!) is nearing completion! (There will be prequels and sequels though, so don't fret.)
prequels?? sequels?? you are too good to me! (well, of course i know you aren't writing for me, but i can pretend for a bit can't i?) i promise, no fretting. i will be swet and patient and review like a good little journaler. thanks so much!
Squee! I can comment! :) *hugs you* Oh, oh, oh! Wonderful build up of tension, then a bit of release and then ratcheting up the tension even more. You do Giles' voice so well! It's nice as well how you mirror Spike and Angel - yet each has their own defined personality. he turned to Giles and said pleasantly: "Well, let's talk about betrayal then!" LOL! Fantastic!
OoooOOhhhhhh... enter Fred. Interesting way to frame the question. "You're asking if wilful neglect amounts to manslaughter - or even murder?" Hmmm. Curious to see what Giles will ultimately have to say to that, confronted with the evidence of Fred's death/transformation, especially since he has far more overt examples of killing or attempted killings under his belt.
I'm trying to think what I can say in reply that won't spoil what's to come (although you might of course have guessed it?), but so far I'm drawing a blank. Suffice to say, that they're rather pissed off since Giles made himself out to be better than them!

Thank you!! It's very hard to judge these things myself.

Oh, good - their differences is what makes them so much fun when they interact, and I'm trying to capture that. :)
So happy that you like!
