Ok so I am back from England! From Equus! From the beer! and it was a total and complete blast! Here are some highlights:

I really need to catch up on my flist. I swear, being gone for a week leaves me completely in the dark with the goings on of my beloved darlings.

as for the turtle, from what I could see without my telescope (and we were pretty close to the stage), he was "Jewish."

and if you went to England, you would have a WONDERFUL time! It was probably the best vacation I have had in years.

I did have a wonderful time. Much of it is a blur. The english to american beer alcohol equivalent is much higher than I anticipated. I had three stella's and crawled my way to the ladies room.

Yay! I enjoy the food when I'm in the UK too - even some of the dodgy stuff. I just tend to put my "I'm on holiday and everything is great!" mindset on and just enjoy it all. I have a bizarre fondness for the prepackaged sandwiches you can get in places like Boots. :D

I never went to boots, but next time I am definitely trying it!
