I am hanging out at Starbucks (hence the overdose on caffeine), where it is of course too COLD instead of too hot, and I cannot get much walking in, because I can only do so much inside the mall before I go a little crazy. And my computer is being temperamental when I try to post things. Am typing this in regular Word and the cutting and pasting to LJ, which seems to work fine for replies but not for posts. *sigh

waaaaahhhhh!!!! i feel your pain. and now i want to drown my own pain in a trough of iced coffee, but that would keep me up all night, lol.
i am so sorry that your outdoors rehearsal is happening on this bear of a weekend. i am positively distraught that i have to go to the park on sunday to teach laughter yoga. my plan is to keep it very low key and short, lol. i hope that is my co-leader's plan as well.
and heat messes with my laptop - it gets overheated. i don't know if that's a factor for yours. anyhow, i hope you manage to stay cool, or at least well-hydrated. i've already decided if i have to spend the weekend holed up in my bedroom where i have an air conditioner, that's allowed, lol. *more air hugs*
Ugh, five hours in the sun?? Do you have anything you can use as a parasol? I'm reminded of the DS9 Episode Rocks and Shoals, which they filmed in Soledad Canyon. They had to rewrite the script so that Terry Ferrell, who is hugely sensitive to sunlight, wouldn't have to be out in it. So her character was injured and stayed in the cave the whole time while everybody else was sweating on location in temperatures that rose to over 120 degrees F. So yes, your Sunday sounds exhausting and shitty. But at least you're not shooting in Soledad Canyon? *hugs* I hope the powers that be provide water. LOTS of ice cold water.
I have a 2 hour dance class planned, and I pray to the powers that the studio owner will OK the use of air conditioning, because we usually just dance under ceiling fans (unless we're doing a veil dance, in which case, we have to turn the fans off).
