Ooooh, this is a very original idea! I hope you don't mind me saying I don't like your Edmund... in that he's a man that is in need of a good slap!! :) Very nice flash of life.

Edmund definitely needs a slap. On the show he seemed like such a Grade A asshole, I was merely keeping in the spirit. ;) I'm glad you liked this little flash into Juliet's earlier life.

Wow, this is really great! I really am curious to know more about Juliet's relationship with Edmund, and I love reading fic about it!

Thanks! There doesn't seem to be a lot out there about Juliet's early life, and I'm interested in it too. I'm glad you liked this little look at what it could have been like. :)

This is a nice slice of Juliet's life, but it's kind of sickening, too--but I mean that as a compliment, because this is exactly how Juliet's ended up where she is, being preyed upon at a vulnerable time and not being strong enough to deal with it. Well, until she met the lostaways, anyway. ;)

Thanks hon. :) It really is sickening - looking back at the Juliet of "Not in Portland", she is so broken and weak and beaten down, you wonder how she got down that far. And I suspect that it's exactly like you said - being preyed upon in her most vulnerable moments. *hugs Juliet*

Juliet's time with Edmund was actually one of the ideas I had in mind with this prompt, so thank you very much for this! I'm curious to know more about her time with Edmund, do you think we'll ever see this?

Oo, I'm glad that this time period is one of the things you may have wanted to see from your prompt! I'm glad that you liked it. :) I don't know if we'll ever get to see more of Juliet's past...I feel like with so little time left, getting a look at people's pasts is pretty much done and over with. :(
