oh my. it's nice to think that Jack and Marc were that close... I never really thought about it, but now I wanna see Marc again in an FB ;)

I can totally understand his feelings towards Sarah, and a delicate half dozen white and pink roses. Her favorite. sums it up perfectly - she didn't even really know Jack, I guess she never really understood who he was (is). And I think "You wouldn’t be sorry if he wasn’t dead, Sarah." is SO true.

Thank you for the feedback! I love Marc; I assume they were pretty tight because they were still best buds by the time of Jack's wedding, and Marc was his best man, so I figure they were really close. Hence, Marc love is through the roof. :)

I've wanted to write a Marc smacks down Sarah fic for awhile now, I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to do it. :) Thanks for reading!

Damn, LJ simply vanished with my comment! Oh well...

I was saying that i really love how you portray Marc, because Jack so needs someone who cares deeply for him. So deeply that he would not bring roses. And Sarah would. That says a lot about their personality, by the way.

Marc is totally right when he says what Sarah's side of the story is. She never had been decent enough to talk to him about her lonelyness.

I often think about this, about how the rest of the world is taking their 'deaths'. It's brilliant to also have the chance to read about these circumstances.

oh, LJ. It's been such a pain in the ass lately, eating comments and screwing up. Rarrrrr.

I'm happy you liked this one! I've often wondered about how everyone reacted to the plane clash back in the "real world" and I've always thought Sarah would be selfish about it until the end. Marc seemed like the perfect guy to lay into Sarah and tell her what a jerk she is. Marc = love! :)

Terrible ...and beautiful.
Poor Jack. You have to wonder how much pain can a heart take without breaking.
Poor Mark. Loosing his brother of the heart. Not knowing that he is alive, that maybe there is a chance...
And even poor Sarah. Foolish blind Sarah who didn't know what she had.

Beautifully written and i love how you potrayed Marc and Jacks friendship (i soooooooo wanna see him in another flashback !!)

And how u wrote his anger towards Sarah and his devestation at loosing his best friend ........... “Sarah, your side of things is that he worked too much and you got lonely. Instead of telling him about it, you found someone else. That’s your side of things. And our friendship ended the minute you broke his heart. I don’t care if you feel badly now because he died. Your pain is not my pain. Don’t even compare it.” I just love this bit :)

I wish we could see more of Marc in FB too! I would love to see more of his and Jack's friendship, maybe the two of them whooping it up as teenagers or in college, having a good time. :) I'm glad you liked his anger toward Sarah. I've been wanting to write this scene for a long time, I thought it would be interesting to see how Marc reacted to someone like Sarah who didn't realize what she had, while Marc was the one who appreciated Jack and all that he was.

You know when a lot of people were guessing that Marc was the one Sarah was cheating on Jack with, I never believed it.

This is exactly how I imagine Marc to be, loyal to Jack to the very last. I'm glad he gave Sarah that dressing down. She manages to be selfish even when Jack's dead.

Sometimes I think you and I share a brain when it comes to Lost. This is as perfect as usual.

Yeah, there was a lot of theorizing that Marc was the other man, and for awhile I didn't put it past TPTB to do that to Jack, I was afraid they'd go that awful route, so I'm really glad they didn't. Marc is the absolute best. I've wanted to have Marc dig into Sarah for her actions for awhile so I'm glad I finally got this written. :)

Maybe we do share a brain! Quick, what am I thinking right now? If you thought JACK IS SO HOT, then you're right!!! ;)
