Hehe, due to the time difference my comment was posted at 3.48pm and your answer at 2.14pm - spooky! lol... You answered before I even asked the question!

I want you to write 3,500 words on it... *G*, no just kidding! If you could tell me why you liked it and what it's about, that would be good though (presumably something about two cities I'm guessing *G*).

I just read about it on the Amazon Website (Amazon are so very useful)... I should have probably known that that is a book by Dickens! Oops... *embarrassed*
Is it just me or do other people also find that when they reply to comments the time it claims you posted is somewhat wrong?

I love books as well, but the problem at the moment is that I keep changing my mood half way through a book. Currently I'm reading "Big Bang" by Simon Singh and "Creation" by Steve Grand.

"Big Bang" is a great combination of the biographical, historical and scientific with regards to cosmology and the creation of universe. It explains our ideas and understanding of the universe from the ancient Greeks through Einstein to the modern day.

"Creation" is basically all about life (and how to create it). It probably going to be more computer science that biology. Seems to be about emergent behaviour in complex systems.

I have the problem that I have good intentions of reading something educational and then I get bored and read something fun instead... Like recently with The Oxford Illustrated History of Britain - which was today replaced by 'Scar tissue'...
I think my dad might have the Big Bang book you mention. I will have to ask him about it. Asking him however usually results in being talked at about Physics and me understanding very little...
Do I need a degree to understand the above mentioned books?
On the subject of creating life: When mummy and daddy like each other a lot, life is created *G* - that's my scientific explanation! You might from this see why I usually stick with history and not science! ;)
