When my friends had children in several activities every week and our eldest was either an only child or the youngest was a baby, I swore I would never be "one of those" moms who ran a personal taxi service to and from every activity know to man

I think it's great. The parents who are willing to support their children in doing these kinds of activities are often the parents who have children with a wide variety of healthy interests and activities. I think it's sad when kids do nothing but watch TV :)
