It's mighty nice of you to offer me an alternative, but you see, a top hat is no real substitute for a crown. I hope you understand.
*snatches crown off your head*
Hey, just be thankful it was off with the crown instead of the other option. *nods, crown twinkling in the sun*
Now that that's taken care of... *dusts hands*
I wanted to say that this chapter is brilliance. The way you use the scene in the episode to further the story, explore Pepa's mind. It's like with every chapter your improving the show, expanding on it, rewriting it for the better. I know everyone is appreciating it. As do I. And that ending with Rita was perfecto...
Hey! What the...?! Get back here! My God, you're persistent!
Okay, fine, wear it for now, my friend. But just know that I'm watching. And waiting. Mwahahahaha....
Now, I didn't watch all the episodes religiously, so I can't say this for certain, but one of the other (many) things that bothered me was they didn't seem to deal too much w/ anyone's loss! Curtis lost his BFF. And Rita lost someone too! Montoya was a good guy. So I had to give her a little shout out.
And now, if you'll excuse me...*runs off to plan strategy*
Go for it, if it makes you happy! I'd like to hide in that dream too - it was an awfully nice place, complete w/ pelirroja.
Well, I kinda went with the idea that we all know what happened on Christmas Day - El Gordo bought the farm, so to speak, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. And we certainly know poor Pepa had a meltdown after that. So I skipped ahead a little. Forgive me? Rest assured, El Gordo still got exactly what he deserved. :)
Pardon me for being a vengful bitch. I just was looking forward to seeing him lying on the ground with blood running out of his head...perhaps a bit of rathful rage from Pepa, as explained who she was and why she was she pulling the trigger.
love how ya tied in the episode of Pepa coming back to the precinct. Explaining her state of mind & vulnerability showing her hurt, I like that. you've done an outstanding job w/ this fic & I thank you for it.
Thank you, swiftly! I tried to pick a couple places where I could jump into the season a bit. And I really was very curious where she went after she walked out of that lab and what she did with that box.
Knowing Pepa's fragile state at that time, I'm actually shocked she DIDN'T attempt to shoot Deker. He was in her wife's lab, for God's sake! And it was no ordinary lab either - we sure as hell know that Silvia's science experiments weren't the ONLY experiments going on in there!
Rita and Pepa, sharing the same kind of pain; The loss of the one they love. *sniffles* It's touching.
But why didn't you have Curtis there too crying for Kike? Weren't they lovers? *Smacks myself* That was a lame joke, but it made me giggle, and hey, you're hurting my heart I get to make awkwardly lame jokes and leave them as comments.

Now then, you were saying? Vengful bitch? Pooling blood? Rage? Yes, yes, I totally agree! With everything you say!
