Of all them I only own "Giovanni's Room", I agree it's a great book. It's very sad...it had quite an effect on me as I was reading it.

I've seen the DVD around of "Angels In America", but i haven't bothered with it.

Brent's list is mainly Young Adult, that is of course what also he writes. I think that, if you are interested in this genre, you can pick various interesting hints from his list. Elisa

Giovanni's Room is in my top ten. It's right up there with DANCER FROM THE DANCE. Good post.

You are welcome. I noticed that, even if it's nice to read list with "familiar" books, what readers really like is to find out about books they didn't know, or maybe forgot.
