I really enjoyed your review of this story, Elisa, which I did beta and is still a favorite. I think it's because Jody and Clark are special to me, I really liked their romance. Next time I reread the story, I'll probably mull on your perspective.

I tried to be impartial, and it was not easy since I started with a negative impression (not mine). This is exactly the reason why I don't read review of book I would like to read myself. But well, it happened, and my opinion is that this is a book that appeals to whom like their men a bit emotional, very much involved, and with an high dose of romanticism... and I'm one of those people.

Elisa

Every opinion is worthy, positive and negative. If a reader is like me, and he is interested in a story, it will read it anyway, even if he read a negative review. It's exactly what I did. Elisa

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I'm a college football fan and didn't find the timeline disturbing or distracting because I was able to involve myself thoroughly in the story or the two lovers and their difficult and sometimes dangerous journey.

You are right, it's more important how the characters impact on you, then being overly accurate with all the details. As I said, it could have been football, baseball, basket and it would have been the same. Elisa
