Thank you so much for your honest, insightful review of Kaji. I was very nervous about the manuscript, mainly because of the scarcity of sex scenes, but you set my mind at rest. That you became empathetic with Ben's character and saw the story through his eyes makes me feel wonderful! *glows*

As I said, you make me change my mind, and I love this story, so you did a good job ;-) even without sex LOL Elisa

Thank you. That's the best compliment I could ever have received.

Once I'd decided on first person pov, I quickly realized that Ben's character would never stick around and watch people being intimate. That fact had a great effect on the shaping of the story, making it quite unlike my previous efforts (as you noticed :)

I hasten to add that I haven't abandoned "the hotness". Sex is a part of life, and I can't imagine leaving it out. ;D

Oh, yes. And Ben, and the reader, have their chance also in this book, only a little bit farther on in the story, and not as spectator ;-)

This sounds like a perfect story to read for those days when I'm more interested in plot and characterization than overdosing on steamy man-sex. *grins*

I've added it to my must-buy list now, and honestly (though I haven't read the blurb), I likely would have given it a pass, based upon the themes of sex, drugs, rock-n-roll, if not for this review.

Thanks, Elisa! I'm looking forward to reading this!

It's a really romantic love story... actually two, since also Ben has his own personal love story. Elisa

I don't usually read reviews about things I have already ordered (print version coming for me *g*), but couldn't resist taking a peek (the cover is beautiful).
You have whetted an appetite already anticipating this particular dish. *g*
Thank you, Elisa!

It's a very good choice to buy the print book, you will spend the time looking at the cover... and when you will decide to read it, I think you will not be disappointed. Elisa
