Hi Jess, is not your computer iffy, it's me that is not used to give ratings, I don't like them. I gave my impression on the book, what it left to me. I can be more or less enthusiastic of a book, but I will never "rate" it, since what for me is a Five Stars for someone else is barely a 2 Start, and viceversa. Since Amazon forced me to give a rate for post a review, I give for default 5 stars: I know it's not quite right, but in my review I try to be always sincere with the book. Elisa

Elisa: This is why I like the reviews here. You tell of characters, plot and love scenes. You leave impression to your readers about the book based on your words: hot, warm or cold.

Thank you Jardonn. As I said in the previous comment, I would like to pass what a book left to me, and I'm glad in a way I manage to. We are totally different people, and I really can't classify a book with a rate, a rate is something cold that doesn't give my feelings of the book. And as I said, for me a book could be wonderful, since touch something in me, for another person it could be passable, since the some spot wasn't touched. Elisa

Ratings can be confusing. I've received 3 stars for a work that, judging by the reviewer's enthusiasm and positive comments seemed to have warrented a higher number and five stars with a coldly analytical review.
One of several things that makes Elisa's reviews so valued.

There is also the little detail that I never write a review for a book that I don't like in total (truth, it's difficult to not find something to like in a book...). So if I spent time to open, read and finish a book, it means that I like it. Elisa
