I actually know Walter. He teaches at USC here in LA and is a very sweet man. I believe he lives in the US half the year and in Indonesia the other half. He told me he was writing a new book but he didn't say that it was a romance. He probably assumed I'd think it was something scholarly since I'm his textbook rep!

Thanks for highlighting this book, Elisa. I'm off to buy it for a weekend read.

What a little world! Probably Walter Williams wrote the historic part and Toby Johnson the romance, but you can't say where one finish and the other start, so it's a very good mix. Elisa

I really loved this book. History with romance, in equal parts, accurate and sweet.
