Personally I would have thought that the age difference would be more pronounced when the younger was 18, not 33!

Yes you have a point. But perhaps Mark at 30 sees himself like a still attractive man, and instead at 45 he fears the big five.

Thank you for the kind review, Elisa. I'm so glad you enjoyed my story.

To answer Erastes question, I wanted to focus on an older couple for this story. I write a lot of young characters, and while they're fun, I simply thought exploring the dynamic between a couple who'd been together for a while would be an interesting dynamic.
